A Pepper or Salt mill are staple items as gifts or
for sale at craft shows. While needing attention and
care, they are relatively easy to make and Phil will show you all the secrets. Due to survey results, this event was
changed to "Turning a Lidded Box". Those interested
in seeing a Pepper/Salt mill turned can arrange for that

Workshop with John Ryan a photographer who will
provide us with important information and instruc-
tions to shoot our work and obtain high quality craft
pictures. This is a must event if you enter galleries
or shows that require you to send pictures of your
work.
The club challenge over the summer is to make a
piece from a 2x4x8 construction lumber. Up to 10%
of materials used can be in addition to the 2x4. This challenge is due in October. |

All of you HOW participants this is the time
to bring in your HOW pieces. The best piece
will receive a $ 25.00 cash price. The club
challenge will be due with another cash price
going to the winner. Our regular show and tell
will give you the opportunity to show off your
newest work you made during the summer.
