April 13, 2010 Moorestown Demo by Mike Kehs, piercing and surface deco ration. Mike has demonstrated for us previously, making his famous inside out turnings of bats and other animals. April 11-May 15 HOW workshops at instructors shops April 20th Hainesport Open house at Phil Hauser May 11th Moorestown Demo by Keith Holt. Keith turns and carves faces of animals and people using multiple axes with a system he developed. This is a unique demonstration that you need to attend ! May 1 8 , 2010 Hainesport Open house at Phil Hauser June 8, 2010 Moorestown Making use of our new home, we will have multiple demonstrations going on all at the same time. Andy DiPietro will be making a hollow form Robert Jay will be carving the surface of a hollow vessel. Steve Leichner will be making bottle stoppers. George Morris will be making a Christmas ornament. Also at the June meeting we will have show and tell of the HOW pieces. Bring your HOW pieces to the show and tell and the best will receive $ 25.00 The club challenge, a weed pot, is also due on this date and will be judged for the best piece. June 15 , 2010 Hainesport Open house at Phil Hauser July and August   Summer break and summer picnic, date to be determined. Sept 14 , 2010 Moorestown The first meeting of the new season will have us conducting an egg cup turning contest. Every participant will receive a turning square of the same size. The objective is to turn an egg cup within 7 minutes. The best looking cup will be awarded a prize. At the end of the contest we will have a show and tell session. Also, the club challenge over the summer, a wall hanging will be due. Sept 21 , 2010 Hainesport Open house at Phil Hauser October 12, 201 Moorestown Demonstration by Don Hart. Don will show us how he makes some of his miniature turnings. This will be an interesting demo to watch. October 19, 2010 Hainesport Open house at Phil Hauser November 9, 2010 Hainesport Half day demonstration from 9.30 AM to 1.00 PM at my shop. This will be a demo for anyone who can make it to my shop and spend a few hours with Don Derry. This will be a very interesting and intense 3 Hours with one of the masters in our business. Admission $ 25.00 per participant including lunch. November 9, 2010 Moorestown Demonstration by Don Derry. Don is an artist from Washington State. Go to his website and see the beautiful pieces he makes. Don has demonstrated for us previously and he does an excellent and humorous job. He will show us how he manages to make his elegant shapes.
